Earlier, I told you guys about a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I got a good amount of helpful advice; mainly to just man up and do something. So I did. An Abarth for those who don't care about this at all.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I began talking to her on my break from work. It started off like a normal conversation, but then I finally couldn't do it anymore and just asked.

I learned something from this: she has known I liked her the whole damn year. Literally since the second week she has known. She mocked me for waiting so long.

I then said something cheesy (but it worked, I know I didn't fully follow your advice but it did work.

"Is there any chance a guy like me could go see a movie with someone as perfect as you?"

Her response was, in a really cute way, "anything is possible :)" and now we haven't really stopped talking. So thank you guys for telling me to man up. It helped.

Well now that you are in a so called relationship with her here is some advice. Relationships are like motors some times you fix them then they run great you will have some problems but usually they are minor and you can fix them. Other times you try to fix them and break it worse. So don't try to make it perfect cause you might break it but remember to fix those little problems so it doesn't get worse. I was honestly about to! I was so close but when we were talking earlier I had to give it one more shot...

My biggest issue is I get caught up in one girl at a time.. and it takes me a long time to break off an move on (one took me five years! But that was a mess in itself)

If shit goes wrong, I know I will.. i just hope it doesn't. my life is never this lucky

Honestly, I read your last article but couldn't comment, was running late. Just CONGRATULATONS! It is hard out there, but just remember this as I always do.

Everything happens for a reason, and the good things always take the most.

My girlfriend and I liked each other for like a year and people started to tease and made us feel really uncomfortable. But I decided to tell her just at the right time. I asked her to be my girlfriend with an astonishing scavenger hunt-like proposal, and she just cried of happiness all the way. This July 30th I will be celebrating my 2nd anniversary, and I cant tell you how happy I am. I really really hope you get to where you want with her. NEVER forget all that you have done to finally be something more. And, when you do get to that something more (which you will, I assure you) just make her feel like she doesn't need to go anywhere else and with no one else. It has worked for me, and I am the luckiest happiest dude alive.

late to the game, but replying about this & original one earlier as I just read it. I seen it earlier, but didn't have time to read it or too many tabs open that I wanted to get through. So I ended up reading the follow up before the dilemma post.

One thing I'd say is don't put this girl up on a pedestal too high that you worship her. She is just a person and don't think it's going to be a fairy tail if & when you do get together.

Now I'll share a short version of my story like that.

I dated Crystal, who had a best friend Alicia, who got married, but was hot, and we got along pretty good. Alicia got a divorce (dude was an asshole), Crystal & I broke up, I tried dating Alicia right after, but was weird. We stayed friends, & 2 years later we dated, later engaged, and married for 4 years.

I got the girl I wanted and it's great, but even a relationship you fantasize about won't be awesomely perfect like you think. Take it slow and grow a friendship, as that's a great basis for a relationship.
